Unlike last decade now a days we don’t find long antennas in
smart phones, where they have gone?
Today’s phones are with small size and amazing features whereas
phones from last decade were bulky and heavyweight, how did this become
possible?
In last decade parts of phones were bigger in size, hence
there were no space to fit the antenna inside of phone. That's the reason why
the antenna is came out of the phone.

micro and Nano size, so there is sufficient space to fit antenna inside the phone.
Antenna size depends upon which frequency of the signal you want to catch. Size
of the antenna is ½ to ¼ of frequency. In smartphone 5-6 inch of the antenna is
sufficient. After some time printed are come which are not street they are
zigzag.
The first printed antenna is used in Nokia`s phone is 1998, And the
body of the smartphone also works as an
antenna.
